Patsy Hall – updated with funeral information

It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of the death of long-time Society member Patsy Hall, in May 2024 after a long illness.
Patsy joined the Society in the 1990s and went on to fulfil a number of volunteer roles.  She shared the organisation of the Santa Special Trains for a number of years including hand making many of the costumes, and making 100s of mince pies every year.  Patsy was also Society Chairman for a period in the mid 2000s.

Although Patsy travelled to Llanuwchllyn less in later years, the village and the railway were always very special to her.

Patsy’s funeral will be held at 1500hrs on Thursday 13th June at Beckenham Crematorium, BR3 4TD. Her family wishes to invite guests to join them for refreshments afterwards at the Shirley Park Golf Club, 194 Addiscombe Road, Croydon CR0 7LB.

Please feel free to wear a splash of colour or something which reminds you of Patsy.

It is requested that flowers are only sent from family please. Donations to either the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity or to Cancer Research UK may be made at:
